Isn’t the Name

Isn’t the name of Jesus wonderful?
For to us a child is born; to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6


All the world can come to Him and have their sins removed

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13


For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16


Isn’t the name of Jesus beautiful?

She will bear a son, and you will call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21


And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14


Son of God and one of us, lover of our souls

For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost. Matthew 18:11


This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10


Isn’t the Name of Jesus powerful?

For by him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - all things have been created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:16


Chains are broken when it’s spoken, every knee must bow

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron. Psalm 107:13-16


Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11


There is freedom in the name

Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17


I will walk about in freedom for I have sought out your precepts. Psalm 119:45


Healing in the name

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5


There is power in the name

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. John 1:3


Salvation in the name

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:30-31


There is life in the name

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. John 5:24


There is no other name but Jesus

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12


Isn’t the name of Jesus all we need?

You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands. How wonderful are your gifts to me; how good they are! Psalm 16:5-6


He’s the way, the truth, the life, the only way to God

Jesus said to them, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” John 14:6
