Community Outreaches

~ The CALL

BVAG partners with The CALL in NWA as they recruit, train, and support foster and adoptive families in our area.  In November, BVAG hosts the 30 hour PRIDE training required for families to open their homes.  For more information and to find the next info meeting, please check their website at http://

~ SnackPacks

Every week of the school year, BVAG provides 80 SnackPacks for children with food insecurities at Cooper Elementary school.  Please check the calendar for our next SnackPack Sunday night where we pack 320 SnackPacks for the next month, following a time of worship and prayer.

Baby Hats

If you are interested in knitting or crocheting baby hats for newborns at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, BVAG can provide the yarn and patterns!  BVAG ladies occasionally meet at the church to work together on baby hats and prayer shawls.  Please contact Pastor Lauren or the church office for more information.

~ Homeless Feeding

BVAG partners with Genesis Church in Fayetteville to provide and serve lunch to the homeless on every fifth Saturday in a month.  If you would like to get involved, please contact Drew and Nancy Beisswenger.

~ Community Appreciation Baskets

Over Labor Day weekend, BVAG small groups work together to make and deliver goodie baskets to each of the public servant departments in Bella Vista to show our appreciation.  This includes the fire departments, police departments, street department, water department, POA, Cooper Elementary teachers and staff, and others.

~ Samaritan’s Feet

In the fall, BVAG hosts a back to school shoe distribution where we provide brand new, free shoes to students in our area. For more information about this event, please contact Mitch Langston or visit http://

~ Operation Christmas Child

October is our Operation Christmas Child month!  BVAG provides boxes for families and small groups to fill with a "wow" item, school supplies, and hygiene items.  Once the boxes are returned, our church prays over the children that will receive the boxes.  Bella Vista Baptist Church is the national drop off location in our area during the OCC National Collection Week.  For more information, please check their website:  http://

Care Outreaches

~ Benevolence Lunches

Monthly delicious lunches after both morning Sunday Services. This meal is a fundraiser for benevolence funds. Proceeds help those within our church family during a crisis situation. It is a time for fellowship and helping others in need!

~ Baskets, Hospitalized Attendees

Baskets are made and given to our hospitalized church family members to aide them during this difficult time.

~ Give A Hand

Every family goes through times in their lives when they are unable to do things for themselves. Some examples would be surgeries that restrict activity, small maintenance around the home that has become difficult to do, unable to drive or are housebound for any reason. When this happens it would be nice to have a resource to go to that would supply the support needed during these times. God instructs us to take care of our own and our church family is very good at doing just that. Having a ministry in place would make the process easier for all.
Ceata Oberhofer is coordinating this ministry and is trusting that God will put it upon your heart to get involved. Her plan is to expand the list of people that are willing to assist when needs arise. If you have a special skill and/or training to offer, that would be an added blessing, but mostly we just need helpers. This is a great outreach for families to do together when there is a need.
If you are interested in helping, please email Ceata: or call the church office at 479-855-2222.

~ GriefShare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most diffcult experiences.  You don't have to go through the grieving process alone. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now.  If you've lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you've probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you've never faced before.
